#1 Deeply cleanse
Cleanse with a product suited to your skin type and follow with a gentle scrub to remove any dead cells and grime that's built up during the day. Lightly massage it on using small, circular movements, avoiding your eye area but paying attention to your chin and the sides of your nose.
#2 Settle down to a face mask
Once your skin is squeaky clean and dry, apply a face mask - hydrating, purifying, revitalising, anti-ageing, brightening... By applying a thick layer, your skin will be able to soak up its active ingredients. Settle back and leave as per the instructions... maybe throw in a little manicure? Rinse it off with warm water and apply a moisturiser.
#3 Enjoy a facial massage
Boost your circulation, smoothe away wrinkles, firm up your skin and revive your complexion with a quick facial massage. Use a good quality, preferably organic, oil (jojoba, sweet almond, argan) and warm up a few drops in your hands. Apply a light pressure and, starting with the middle of your face, smooth your fingers up and out.
#4 Give your body a detox
Sunday's are perfect for clearing out toxins that have bombarded our bodies throughout the week. Pour yourself some fresh juice or a cup of cleansing tea. Draining, antioxidant, stimulating... they're all good for our bodies! The result? Clear, glowing, blemish-free, perfect skin. Drink a large glass or cup at Sunday teatime to get your skin prepped for the week to come.
#5 Gorge on antioxidants
Pre-prepare antioxidant-rich meals for the week. Go for foods packed with vitamin A, E, C and omega 3 - citrus fruits, red fruits, nuts, oily fish and green veg will do the trick.
